The Air Jordan 1 Retro High is one of, if not THE must-have silhouette for sneakers fans. Paying tribute to this mythical model created by Peter Moore, Jordan releases a version filled with irony, since the pair mocks the resell market of sneakers in which it is very widely represented.
This model called No L's or "Not for Resale" is dressed in the colors of the Chicagoversion of the Air Jordan 1, a black and white base and red inserts. The humorous aspect of the pair is found in the inscriptions present on the heel, "No Photo" in reference to the high media coverage of sneakers and in the inscriptions "Not for Resale" and "Wear Me" which are respectively placed on the outsole and on the tongue, ironically indicating the fact that the biggest part of the sneaker market is in the repurchase and resale.
